NOT ALL WHO WANDER ARE LOST
In a world that is increasingly distracting and overstimulating, we design learning environments that reconnect children with themselves,
their communities, and the natural world.

CHILD-LED LEARNING IN NATURE
Our approach is rooted in a simple conviction: young children learn best when they are free to move, explore, and wonder in the natural world. The forest is not a backdrop to learning — it is the learning. These are not simple casual days in the forest, there is intention and there is purpose.
Â
Through long, unhurried days outdoors, children build problem solving, resilience, confidence, language, critical thinking, collaboration and a deep, embodied relationship with the living world around them.

In a world that will be increasingly dominated by machine, the skills that makes us human are the ones children will need the most.
MEET OUR TEAM

Garrett,
Founder, Principal Lead Guide
Garrett is a father, a seasoned educator and Level 3 Certified Forest School Lead Guide with more than eight years of experience leading nature-based education programs across the United States and Europe.
At the heart of his work is a simple belief: children thrive when they are given the freedom to follow their curiosity, find their voice, test their abilities, and grow in meaningful connection with the natural world.
Beyond Wander & Wonder, Garrett brings his expertise to schools internationally, designing tailored outdoor learning programs that thoughtfully bridge academic curriculum with experiential, nature-based education.
In France, he currently partners with the Lycée International of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, where he develops and leads year-round outdoor education programs for both the British and American Sections.

Marianne,
Early Years Nature Guide
Marianne is an environmental educator with a passion for helping children discover the natural world through curiosity and hands-on exploration. Bilingual in English and French, she brings experience in nature education, creative workshops and outdoor group leadership to Wander & Wonder. With warmth, adaptability and a child-centered approach, Marianne creates space for children to explore, ask questions and make discoveries of their own.

Zelda,
Assistant Lead Guide
Zelda brings a background in environmental advocacy and a deep belief in the connection between people and the natural world. A mother, lifelong learner and passionate nature explorer, she draws inspiration from hiking, foraging, earth art and mindfulness in nature. At Wander & Wonder, Zelda brings a thoughtful, observant approach to helping children explore freely, take healthy risks and build their own meaningful relationship with the outdoors.

Claire,
Assistant Guide
Claire uses the power of narrative and ancient folklore to connect children with environmental conservation. Her stories turn every tree and stream into a character, helping children develop empathy for the living world and their role in protecting it.
JOIN OUR TEAM
We're always looking for grounded, curious, big-hearted humans to join our circle. Whether you're a guide, an educator, a maker, a storyteller, or someone who simply lights up around children and the natural world, we'd love to hear from you.
Our team grows slowly and intentionally — we hire for presence, character, and a genuine love of this work as much as for skills on paper. If something below speaks to you, apply. If nothing fits today but you feel called to what we're building, send us a note anyway — the right people have a way of finding us.
